Development
Polycomp's own development department has both the skills and the equipment to solve the most complicated problems. In the course of time many rubber-compounds have been developed and produced to meet the specific requirements of customers. If the required compound is not already available we can manage the complete development process for you. This can be done from fast and simple up to the complete ISO-TS16949 requirements.

Design inputs can start with general temperature requirements to fluid- and aging resistance. Further refinement can be done using experience combined with experimental design techniques and state of the art analysis methods.

The composition of these developed compounds is kept strictly confidential. In addition to the formulations which are customerspecific, Polycomp has a computerised database containing formulations approved by national and international inspection authorities.
This includes compositions that meet both the current and future stringent requirements regarding the presence of toxic and environmentally damaging substances. The properties of all compounds are determined according to the ISO-standards, but other methods may be applied after consultation.
