General Purpose Compounds
For applications where the rubber parts are not exposed to agressive media or high temperatures general purpose rubbers like EPDM, SBR, NBR and NR are used. These rubbers have good physical properties and processability.
Ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) has outstanding heat (up to 150 °C), ozone and weather resistance, and good cold flexibility. Read more
Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) is, depending on the ACN concentration, resistant to oil, fuel, and other chemicals. Read more
Natural rubber (NR) has a long fatigue life and high strength. The main use of NR is in the tire industry, vibration absorption and all sorts of moulded parts. Read more
Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) has excellent impact strength, good resilience, tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and ageing stability. Read more
