With this new FKM line we significantly increased our capacity for the production of our high performance FKM compounds.
The process of installation and testing of our new FKM mixing line is successfully completed. At the same time the factory layout was changed in the past weeks. Various mills and extruders have been moved and electrical facilities adjusted.
With the new mixer we are able to adjust ram pressure, mixing times and mixing temperature profiles even better. This allows us to better control our process, improve dispersion and consistency, and in this way further improve the quality of our high performance FKM compounds. This week we have delivered the first compounds produced in this mixer to our customers.
Another major improvement for Polycomp and a further increase in our high quality standard.
